Daryl Leishman
Director
Daryl has over 30 years of experience and has been the Director of Delnas since its inception in 1993. He is a fully qualified plumber, drainer and gas fitter, licenced in both the ACT and NSW. Daryl maintains a hands-on approach with each of the company’s projects, offering advice and guidance and ensuring everyday operations are consistent with Delnas’ commitment to high standard project delivery.
Daryl’s “happy place” is spending time with his family, pottering outside and of course with his backhoe!
Nicole Leishman
Office Manager
Nicole’s leadership and efficiency in office management and human resource matters facilitates the smooth running of the office. Her optimism and active interest in the company’s wellbeing motivates and encourages an engaged workforce that anticipates the needs of others and produces high quality work. Nicole plays a central role in achieving business compliance and identifying and implementing strategies and procedures to take Delnas into the future.
Nicole is happiest talking recipes with a (full) glass in hand and her choccy labby Moet at her feet.

Marcia Peel
Accounts Manager
Marcia is Delnas’ dedicated Accounts Manager, managing the company’s financial records. She has key responsibility for collating and submitting progress claims for projects. Marcia is thorough, has a keen eye for detail and a sound understanding of Delnas’ goods and services. Marcia’s strong interpersonal skills enable her to clearly communicate and/or negotiate a resolution should any discrepancies arise.
Marcia’s dream date is at a Prince concert in Rome . . . with Prince!
Shannon Senior
Project Administrator
Shannon joined the Delnas ‘family’ in September 2021. Past work experience has provided her with a strong foundation in adapting to new situations and working in fast paced office environments. Shannon is level headed and organised. She balances tasks and priorities with ease and efficiency. Shannon’s willingness to assist and provide high level client support and project administration management, are valued assets.
Shannon always keeps a bottle of wine in the fridge for special occasions . . . even if the special occasion is that she has a bottle of wine in the fridge!
Leah Meek
Office Administrator
Leah is one of Delnas’ newest team members – joining in July 2022 – however is quickly becoming familiar with company policies and procedures. Leah is organised and efficient. She is a forward thinker and has a keen eye (with a twinkle!) for detail, completing tasks to a high standard.
Leah’s key responsibilities include collating tender submissions, organising staff training, assisting with payroll, filtering and following up action arising from incoming calls and correspondence plus supporting the wider team to meet project goals and client expectations.
Besides her husband and two daughters, Leah isn’t sure what she loves more – her motorbike, crystal collection, cocktail nights, or her home menagerie!
Ricky Fort
Safety Manager
Ricky joined Delnas in February 2022. Ricky is a ‘hands-on’ operator, working closely with clients to understand the project objective and identify perceived safety risks. During construction, Ricky demonstrates his commitment by regularly visiting job sites to consult with staff and implement, evaluate (and amend, if required) safety practices relating to personnel, equipment, and materials.
Ricky is the proud grandfather of six, a keen (good??) fisherman and Carlton supporter!
Matthew Duck
Operations Manager
Matt has been a part of Delnas for a long time – commencing ‘on the tools’ as a metal roofer, progressing to a Project Manager and most recently as Delnas’ dedicated Service and Maintenance Manager. Matt detects and addresses water ingress concerns and oversees the maintenance of various facilities in and around Canberra. His ‘hands on’ experience and straightforward attitude is both invaluable and refreshing.
Gym, jetskiing and fishing pretty much sums up Matt!
David Edwards
Project Manager
Stuart Moir
Operations Manager
Stuart is Delnas’ Operations Manager and directs our capable sheet metal fabrication team. Stuart manages all material deliveries and ensures Delnas’ fleet of access equipment are maintained and fully serviced, ready for use. Stuart has a diverse skillset and is very resourceful. He is thorough in conducting the quality control of items before allowing them to leave the workshop.
Stuart is Scottish… enough said!
Anthony Caulfield
Site Foreman
Tony has over 35 years’ experience as a metal roofer and has been working with Delnas Metal Roofing since 2010. Tony has successfully managed various large-scaled projects such as Constitution Place, ANU Union Court, Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre, Stromlo Leisure Centre. Tony is reliable, level headed and a good communicator. He ensures all parties are kept well informed of progress and any issues arising are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
Tony is often found outdoors in the bush, having a fish!
Chris Flood
Site Foreman
Chris has a Certificate III in Carpentry and has been working with Delnas Metal Roofing since 2015. Chris has effectively managed many projects and teams of various skill levels. Chris’ practical approach and ‘can-do’ attitude is demonstrated on a daily basis. His broad experience has provided him with a sound understanding of design, buildability issues and programming. Chris has successfully managed the roofing works for a number of new and renovated buildings – on time and within budget. He regularly communicates progress and is meticulous in ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted correctly.
Chris believes Saturdays are for the boys, barbeques and beers.
